Cancellation Policy for Fascia Training Institute/Simone Fortier Courses
CANCELLATION & TRANSFER POLICY
Fascia Training Institute / Simone Fortier Courses
Thank you for investing in your education with us. This policy explains your options if you are unable to attend a course you’ve registered for, and the terms that govern transfers, credits, and registration changes. It applies to every live and online course offered under Fascia Training Institute and Simone Fortier.
1. All Course Fees Are Non-Refundable
Enrollment determines venue costs, faculty scheduling, and materials production well in advance of a course date. This policy protects the availability and quality of every course FTI runs.
Course fees are non-refundable in cash or cash equivalent, under all circumstances, for any reason — including cancellation by the registrant, non-attendance, or expiration of a credit — except where a refund is required by applicable law.
Where you are unable to attend, the options below apply instead of a refund.
2. Your Options If You Cannot Attend
2.1 Transfer to Another Session
You may transfer your registration to another session of the same course, subject to availability. Transfer requests must be received in writing no later than 5:00 PM, one (1) full business day before the course start date. Each registration is eligible for one transfer. The administrative fee in Section 5 applies.
2.2 Credit Toward a Future Course
You may apply your registration fee as a credit toward any other FTI course. Credit is valid for two (2) years from the date of the original registration, is tied to the original registrant, and is not transferable to a third party or redeemable for cash. Unused credit expires automatically at the end of the two-year period; FTI is not obligated to issue reminders, extensions, or refunds upon expiration. The administrative fee in Section 5 applies.
2.3 Substitute Attendee
You may send another individual in your place at no charge, provided they meet any licensing, prerequisite, or eligibility requirements of the course. Substitution requests must be submitted in writing before the course start date and are not subject to the administrative fee in Section 5.
3. No-Shows
Failure to attend a course without a transfer, credit, or substitution request submitted by the deadline in Section 2.1 is treated as a no-show. No-shows forfeit their registration fee in full, with no right to a transfer, credit, or refund.
4. How to Request a Transfer, Credit, or Substitution
Email info@simonefortier.com with:
- Your full name and registration details
- The course and session you originally registered for
- Your requested option — transfer, credit, or substitution
Requests are confirmed in writing once processed. Verbal or informal requests — by phone, social media, or in person — are not valid until confirmed in writing by FTI.
5. Administrative Fees
Any registrant-initiated transfer or credit request is subject to an administrative fee of $200, due at the time the change is processed. Corrections to registration details — such as a name spelling or contact information — are not subject to this fee.
The fee to apply for CEUs is a minimum of $100, separate from any course or administrative fee.
6. If FTI Cancels or Reschedules a Course
If FTI cancels or changes the date of a course for any reason, registrants will be offered, at no additional cost and with no administrative fee: transfer to the next available session of the same course, or credit toward any other FTI course. FTI does not issue cash refunds for courses it cancels or reschedules, except where required by law.
7. Disputes & Chargebacks
By registering, you agree to raise any billing concern directly with FTI under this policy before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card issuer. An unauthorized chargeback on a valid registration fee may result in forfeiture of transfer and credit rights, referral to collections, and recovery of the disputed amount plus reasonable costs of collection.
8. Force Majeure
Neither FTI nor the registrant is liable for delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disaster, government order, or public health emergency. Section 6 governs course changes arising from such events.
9. Governing Law
This policy is governed by the laws of [State/Province, Country — to confirm], without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
10. Policy Updates & Acceptance
FTI may update this policy at any time. The version in effect on the date of your registration governs that registration. By completing registration for an FTI course, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this policy in full.
